Port Street Beer House American Beer Festival

If you haven’t already heard; Manchester has it very own beer haven. Situated on a back street in the trendy Northern Quarter, this unassuming establishment is a hidden gem for all who are searching for the next great beer. After a successful cider tasting event, PSBH’s first ‘beer school’ had an American theme. The launch night of the American Beer Festival gave 60 lucky people the chance to pack out the bar and get first dibs on the best of American craft.

Thornbridge – St Petersburg

Innovation, passion, knowledge is the mantra of Thornbridge brewery and how can you argue with that. it almost sounds like a call to arms, a rally cry to the brewers of the land. A brewery of high standing with a huge reputation with a range that can rival the best.

After the recent voyage to the very place this beer takes its name we thought it only right to give Thornbridge’s Imperial Russian Stout the once over – St Petersburg

Sierra Nevada – Summerfest

As you walk into a beer house the excitement builds as you make your way to the bar. The fridges become clear and a menu for the range of brews on offer is grasped, you order an interesting half from the cask range to give you some decision time. You find a seat to gaze at the beer fonts and menu. Time to choose. A discussion between friends begins. Something new? Something unusual? An old favourite? – Sound familiar?
